Organization: Canadian Conservation Institute Location: Ottawa, Canada Description: The Manager provides leadership for a program of expert services of international calibre in conservation treatment and conservation methods development, applied scientific research and collections preservation within heritage interiors. He/she disseminates research results through international peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international symposia. In addition, he/she is responsible for managing the delivery of a comprehensive package of expert services to a diverse clientele in Canada including: the treatment of unique and priceless heritage objects and works of art; the technical assessment of heritage materials and objects; and the provision of technical advice on environment, security and fire suppression systems in federal classified heritage real property which includes Canada's Parliament buildings.
