We are looking into new hanging systems for paintings in our galleries and are
interested in options that would also reduce the impact of vibration (mostly
transmitted through the building fabric resulting from construction work or
events in nearby spaces). We are particularly interested in ‘rail and chain’
type systems but would be interested to hear about any other solutions that
have been tested or are in use. Of course, any hanging system also needs to
offer a high level of security. We would be most interested to hear about other
people’s experiences.
