I am an MA Preventive Conservation student conducting research on whether the effective safeguarding and transmission of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) can be considered a valid conservation tool. The survey is aimed at collections, curatorial or other staff involved in the archiving and dissemination of ICH. The aim of this research is to investigate and analyse the extent to which ICH safeguarding can be considered a conservation strategy. The survey should take around five minutes to complete, and is anonymous. Data will be held in accordance with Northumbria University requirements and guidelines.
