The Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) is now accepting applications for the workshop "Surface Treatment Strategies for Outdoor Painted Sculpture" taking place at the Getty Center in Los Angeles from February 19-23, 2018. The workshop will provide conservators with the practical and theoretical tools to design effective treatment strategies for outdoor painted sculpture. The curriculum draws upon the expertise of the diverse range of professionals who have contributed to the GCI's Outdoor Sculpture project - including conservators specializing in the treatment of outdoor painted sculpture, paint industry professionals, paint applicators, and artists' estates and foundations.
