Hello colleagues interested in both preservation science and polymers!

The American Chemical Society (ACS) has just opened up abstract submissions for
the upcoming national ACS meeting in Boston (Aug. 13-23), and this year will
include a dedicated session on Polymers in Cultural Heritage. The full Polymer
Division program, including a link to submit abstracts, can be found here:
https://callforpapers.acs.org/boston2018/POLY

Talks are most welcome on research ranging from the preservation science of
polymeric objects (paper, film, paints, models) to polymeric conservation tools
(repair adhesives, consolidants, gloves). This session will be a great chance
to cross-pollinate ideas from the overlap of cultural heritage and preservation
science with the larger polymer science field.

Abstract submission deadline is Monday March 26.
