hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:

Expected minimum deliverables, include:

Work plan: the contractor shall submit a work plan, detailing all phases of
work, including expected number of days assigned to each phase (including
expected number of days in the field).

First inception and field mission assessment report: the contractor shall
submit a first inception report, which shall include a description of all
the activities conducted, challenges encountered, recommendations to
mitigate or solve identified difficulties, and suggestions for future work.
Final report: long-term conservation strategy, detailing the time-frame,
work plan, the methodology and general approach to the long-term
conservation of Shahr-e Gholghola. The final report will include the
graphic and photographic material produced and analytical data gathered. It
should include a methodological and technical proposal for rock falls and
to consolidate the terrain at the base of Shahr-e Gholghola. This proposal
shall consider the overall archaeological plan for the site, the
recommendations on conservation produced as a result of previous
interventions, and the need to devise a strategy to make the site more
visitor-friendly. It should contain a strategy to engage Afghan officials
and professionals, as well as students from the Bamiyan University in all
conservation works at Shahr-e Gholghola, providing training in fieldwork
activities.
