Conference: Migrants: Art, artists, materials and ideas crossing borders

15-16 November 2018, Murray Edwards College, Cambridge, UK.

The Hamilton Kerr Institute’s upcoming two-day conference, Migrants: art,
artists, materials and ideas crossing borders will reflect on the role of
migration as embodied in works of art, material culture and their conservation.
The conference will present diverse papers by speakers from a range of
disciplines from around the world.

We aim to create a forum for lively and productive discussion of ongoing
research interpreting art and material culture from diverse disciplines and
periods.
