This is not my specialty, BUT. I am concerned about the application of "I voted" stickers that were put on the Susan B. Anthony Gravestone. My concerns are about the residual adhesive that will/could be left on the stone surface after the stickers are removed (if they are) or the effects that the sticker adhesive will have on the surface of the stone if the stickers are allowed to remain.
I would like to know if any of you share my concerns and what, if any, negative effects the adhesive could cause to the stone, chemical damage from the adhesive, removal of stone particles during the removal process. And recommended cleaning processes.
