I am conducting research into the deacidification of fragile paper-based items
such as newspapers and want to investigate what other institutions are doing to
preserve them. I would like to know which methods you have used (aqueous or
non-aqueous), their costs in comparison to other methods and overall efficacy.
If your institution has any newspapers in its collection, I would also like to
know what preventive measures are being taken to ensure their longevity. Any
help would be greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,

Claire Hutchison
