Registration is open for the highly anticipated Gilding Workshop of the Art Conservation Program (Queen’s University)!
Students from the Art Conservation program are happy to welcome local conservators, artists, art historians, and others in related professions to participate in this exciting opportunity which includes an introduction to frame history and restoration techniques, hands-on instruction in both traditional oil and water gilding (as well as a variety of finishing techniques), and the design of personalized gilded test blocks.
