Hello colleagues:

It is my understanding that neon "light" sculptures emit ultra-violet radiation.

If one is unable to isolate the artwork when on display, in other words
displaying it in a space that may contain light-sensitive artwork, what can be
done to the neon sculpture to filter the UV emission? Covering the sculpture
with a UV-filtered acrylic vitrine? What if the artist insist in not having
the sculpture covered in a vitrine?

With regards to fabricating a neon sculpture today, can the "shell" that
contains the neon be made of a UV-filtering material?

I greatly look forward to your responses.

Thank you.
