Hello, I am student in Conservation-Restoration of Works of Art, specializing in Books and Paper, at ENSAV La Cambre in Brussels (Belgium). I created a questionnaire on the restoration of the sewing supports, and I would like to diffuse it to a maximum of professionals.
This questionnaire is part of my final thesis. The aim of my research will be to offer a work aid to book specialists, concerning the restoration of sewing supports (bands). This is a broad topic, where a number of parameters need to be taken into account.The goal is to establish a topography or inventory of current professional practices, and the questionnaire is designed to provide a large number of answers in a relatively short period of time.
