The Russian translation of the European Illustrated Glossary of Conservation Terms for Wall Paintings and Architectural Surfaces, the so called EwaGlos, is online. Everybody can download it on the project website for free: <URL:http://www.ewaglos.eu/pages/download.php>. The Russian terms were translated by Professor Dr. Yulia Griber of the Smolensk State University (Russia), together with six colleagues. The conservation terminology is not yet standardized .For this reason, between 2013 and 2015 a consortium of seven institutions—supported by associated partners and external experts und with another four languages—has developed the richly illustrated glossary and translated into Bulgarian, Croatian, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Spanish and Turkish. The concise texts and demonstrative illustrations are designed to help readers quickly grasp and understand each term. The project specialised in wall paintings and architectonic surfaces because the terminology differs between the different fields of materials. Since December 2016 a revised version of the glossary is available for free. In 2017 an Arabic and a Japanese translation has been published on the project website.
