Do you have knowledge and experience of Collections Care Conservation and would 
like to work with our outstanding national collections?

The Science Museum is seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Collections Care 
Conservator to deliver all aspects of the collections care and conservation 
activities at the Blythe House object storage facility in Kensington Olympia. 
This will include environmental monitoring, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), 
condition reporting, materials tests and working alongside colleagues from 
different departments to ensure the best storage and display environments for 
the collections.

You will provide Object Handling training for colleagues working with the 
collection and actively participate in delivering objects and advice for 
permanent and temporary exhibitions, loans and acquisitions with collections 
hazard support as required.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident communicating 
with a wide range of people.  You will have demonstrable skills in problem 
solving and prioritising and be able to demonstrate the ability to plan and 
execute your own work programmes, provide statistics, compile summary reports 
and promote high collections care standards.

This role is offered on a 12month Fixed Term Contract basis.
