Winterthur University of Delaware Art Conservation Program Portfolio Day
October 16th, 2019 at 4PM at Winterthur Museum

Students interested in applying to the Winterthur/University of Delaware
Program in Art Conservation (WUDPAC) should not miss the Master's program
annual Portfolio Day, to be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at
Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library (not at the University of Delaware), in
which the entering class of graduate students shares their pre-program
portfolios and resumes.

Pre-program candidates and advisors can engage one on one with the graduate
students and ask questions about the process involved in applying to
graduate school for art conservation. Graduate students' portfolios and
studio art will be on exhibit. This year's student speaker, starting at
4PM, is Emily Brzezinski, who will present on her summer internship at New
York City’s American Museum of Natural History. Emily will gladly field
questions from the audience at the end of her talk.

After Emily’s presentation, The WUDPAC Class of 2022 will share their
pre-program portfolios outside the Gallery Reception Area at Winterthur
Museum. Students and visitors are invited to talk to first-year WUDPAC
students for gaining insight and advice, and tour the conservation labs in
the Winterthur Research Building. The following labs will be open:
painting, paper, book, textiles, furniture, objects conservation, and the
analytical labs. Current second-year WUDPAC students will be available in
the labs to explain their current conservation projects and the curriculum.

The event will once again be streaming on Facebook live for those who
cannot make it in person!
