Hello Laken, I only have experience with the Leister Labor S of the tools you are interested in.
The Labor S has a connection box and handset. On the connection box you can regulate the airflow, and on the handset the temperature. The temperature switch has the numbers from 0-6 on it, not any temperature in degrees. There are different attachments for the nozzle available, e.g. a small round one and a flat wide one. That way you can apply the heat to a specific area. I find the Leister very good and helpful. I hope this helps. Does the Ameritronics have a version with a higher temperature range? Can anyone describe how the Leister Labour S works? Is it easy to use and control air and temperature variables? Lastly, what do you all recommend? Are there any options not listed above that you would recommend?
