Dear all:

I am trying to find a suitable fill (opacity, hardness, surface smoothness)
suitable for filling a large chip in the glaze of a Ming Dynasty jar lid. I'm
failing. I admit that everything I try may look dreadful to me because the chip
is located in the worst possible place - right on the most prominent part of a
small, bail-like knob, right in the middle of the lid.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,
