I was wondering if there is a comprehensive collection of brands, or markings, used by frame-makers through history, identifying their creations, signing or branding their frames? Labels of famous makers are also of interest. I'm researching the subject and found several lists from various parts of the globe, but no comprehensive resource that one could consider encyclopedic.
