As Senior Conservator, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver collections moves as part of changes to one of the Science Museum's permanent galleries. This project focuses on the re-locating and refresh of the museum's Space Technology displays. Working in a complex and varied environment, you will lead, oversee and plan the delivery of the decant of the existing gallery. This involves preparing objects, and briefing all relevant internal and external stakeholders, for re-location either to a new display location or to the Museum's storage facility. This will be a 9-month fixed term contract, working full time, 35 hours per week. Hybrid working is available for this position, however there will be periods throughout project delivery which will require you to be onsite regularly to fulfil responsibilities of the role.
