The event emphasized moving beyond sustainability and net-zero goals toward restoring ecosystems, rebalancing value systems, and using cultural heritage to foster climate action. This conference focused on how museums can address climate and social emergencies. "ICOM UK Conference 2025: practical examples of regenerative development in museums". Session 3: Care for Places and Cultures! Eco-museums and inclusive museology: diverse cosmologies for territorial regeneration (Case Studies). The talk deals with two case studies in Brazil, which are indeed very good examples of how museums can be incorporated and contribute with the communities they are connected to, as well as how conservation-restoration training and activities can play an active role on this climate crisis.
