The Lead Preventive Conservator plays a pivotal role in providing leadership in preventive conservation initiatives across all V&A sites. The focus is on ensuring high-quality delivery in areas such as Integrated Pest Management, environmental monitoring, housekeeping programme, and object-rotation across all galleries. The Lead Preventive Conservator works in collaboration with Conservation and other teams across the museum (including exhibitions, tours, loans, capital projects, and estates) to support projects with risk-based collections expertise and advice. The Lead Preventive Conservator actively promotes a culture of preventive conservation cross all V&A sites by liaising with, advising, supporting, influencing, and training stakeholders. The post holder will contribute to and provide support to the V&A's Sustainability agenda and Net Zero targets.
