Subject: Questionnaire on stone conservation for dissertation
 Message: Dear conservation community,

I am currently researching the use and conservation of serpentinite stone for
my dissertation in Historic Building Conservation at the University of York.

If you have any experience in the field of stone conservation, I would be
extremely grateful if you could take 10 minutes to fill out my questionnaire.
Your support will help me to find out how well serpentinite is known in the
heritage sector, where it can be found and how it can be best conserved.

Here is the link to the questionnaire: Identification and conservation of
serpentinite stone in the heritage sector

Subject: Introducing CCAHA's New Preservation Glossary
 Message:
We're excited to share the Preservation Glossary, a free public resource from
the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA), created to make
preservation and conservation terminology more accessible to everyone.

Developed by CCAHA's Preservation Services and Conservation Lab teams with
support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), the Glossary
features over 400 plain-language definitions, many paired with helpful
illustrations. Topics span conservation, collections care, digital stewardship,
and more.

Whether you work in an archive, library, museum, or care for personal or
community collections, this tool can help you better understand and communicate
about preservation. We invite you to explore the glossary, share it widely, and
start putting it to use.
