This initiative seeks to gather perspectives of everyone working with rock art across different regions, contexts, and areas of expertise. The results will help inform future discussions, research agendas, and initiatives to better support the field at both regional and global levels. Survey link: Rock Art Conservation and Management Needs Assessment <https://www.research.net/r/RockArtNeedsAssessment?lang=en> The survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete and is available in English, Spanish, and French. The language can be selected through the drop-down menu on the top right corner of the form. All responses will be treated as confidential and will be presented anonymously and in aggregated form only. Please share this invitation with your colleagues and networks who may wish to contribute; we are seeking as much feedback as possible. The survey will be open until 31 May 2026. Thank you very much for your valuable time. Your contribution is important to us. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch. ------------------------------ Tom McClintock [email protected] Associate Project Specialist Getty Conservation Institute Los Angeles United States ------------------------------ 3.From: Angelica Isa-Adaniya Posted: Monday May 4, 2026 8:51 PM Subject: Link for the 2026 survey on AI perception and adoption in collections care Message: This is a quick thank you message to all those of you who attended the presentation on the 2025 survey we ran on AI adoption and perceptions among collections care professionals. I hope you appreciated some of the insights that came out of the wonderful 89 respondents who took the time to answer the survey last year. As I mentioned during the talk, we have opened the survey again between 1 May - 30 June 2026 so we can see if there are significant changes in our perceptions of AI since September 2025. For those of you interested in filling it out, here is the link to the survey again: 📋 https://forms.gle/zGhZtHGa1pkgy6LB9 <https://forms.gle/zGhZtHGa1pkgy6LB9> <https://lnkd.in/eD-nyPFu> Last year, we did not have enough respondents from outside North America to see if there are regional differences in our perceptions and adoption patterns, so hopefully we are able to get some more global views this time around (I added a Country field so we are not guessing!). Do keep an eye out as we will be publishing the full write up soon. All my best, and thank you again to the organisers at CAC-ACCR and AIC for the lovely conference in Montreal. The schematics to make these innovative container systems are freely downloadable as accessible PDF, TIFF, and PNG files. The modular pockets and bins fit into the flip-top document boxes and Paige 'miracle 15' boxes traditionally used for flat legal and letter-sized file folders. The show features a piece by our conservation associate, Ariana Rutledge Begin, whose artist's piece was inspired by these adhesive-free containers. Disciplines Across Decades shines a light on the origins of NBSS's nine career training programs and how the students are trained today. The exhibition features the best work of the student and graduate community, their connections to techniques used at the start of their programs, a timeline of NBSS history, and artifacts from each program's early years. As the objective is to assess the use of various consolidants and methodologies, respondents are kindly asked to complete the survey for each case study they choose to include. The responses obtained will be incorporated into the preliminary analysis of the research conducted within the Master's Program in Wood Science and Technology at the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo on consolidants for wood affected by xylophagous attack.
