After issues [1] [2] we had with getting Openshift2Nulecule [3] to ADB I had discussion with Suraj about distributing Openshift2Nulecule only as container(similar to Atomic App) rather then as rpm package.
We need both. The reason is we have users for both. For example Atomic App have both. We have it in Fedora and EPEL.
I'm interested in your thoughts about this. Advantages: - separate release cycle from ADB - no more issues with dependencies - consistent interface of atomic cli for the end user. Disadvantages: - might require specifying more command line options - all exported files are going to be owned by root - Extra docker image need to be pulled which is larger than rpm package (this will be one time download) [1] https://github.com/projectatomic/adb-atomic-developer-bundle/issues/279#issuecomment-193841621 [2] https://github.com/projectatomic/openshift2nulecule/issues/21 [3] https://github.com/projectatomic/openshift2nulecule/ _______________________________________________ Container-tools mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/container-tools
