When SAIL 714 is not installed, running initialize-default-databases (usually
as part of yum) migrates all databases successfully, including configuration,
accounts etc.
After SAIL 714 is installed, the database migrations stops after the selintra
database is merged.
i.e. accounts, configuration, networks etc. do NOT migrate.
Not only does this break SAIL itself (because the new asterisk, sail, tftp,
fop, etc. keys are not entered into the configuration database), it also breaks
further database changes introduced via RPM.
To see whether this is a server-specific issue unrelated to SAIL, I installed
SAIL 688. This works as expected, with no issues (related to this bug) as far
as I can see. In addition, uninstalling SAIL 714 immediately remedies the
situation (no need even for a reboot) and allows initialize-default-databases
to work correctly.
I have marked this as a critical bug as it basically borks both SAIL and the
server itself. I spent the better part of a day figuring this out... Jeff, this
particular RPM should IMHO never have been released.
