This too happened to me. Right from the start on my new server(7.4) and also
'suddenly' after many years of faithful service on my old server
(7.0->1->2->3->4). I don't use VPN a great deal but it is mighty handy to be
able to get files from home when I am at work. Now I use a combination of
OpenVPN and PPTP although mostly OpenVPN. Both of these stopped at the same
time.
My problem was I went (old server) from being able to connect, to next time it
wouldn't connect
Having lived with it, not knowing how to exactly report it, it stayed.
Posting on the forum and being encouraged to post a bug here, lead me to find
this.
I went out on a limb and removed chilli-coova. sig-evnt post-upg -> sig-evnt
reboot. Machine rebooted, did it's thing.
I can now login via VPN.
So I can confirm that coova-chilli DOES cause the VPN not to work, I just don't
know why.
