There's no bug here. The certificate on your client is not valid for a VPN
client:
VERIFY ERROR: depth=0, error=unsupported certificate purpose:
/C=AU/ST=NSW/L=Kings_Langley/O=Ashmor_Plumbing_Pty_Ltd/O=21232f297a57a5a743894a0e4a801fc3/OU=VPN/CN=ashmor/[email protected]
(ashmor is the CN of your client's certificate I think)
Valid certificates types for VPN clients are marked here:
