Webshare Contrib is incompatible with SME8 using default install, and
corrupts/damages the httpd.conf file with entries unable to be
interpreted due to missing modules in the Apache web server as soon as
the first Webshare is created.

operational under SME8:

Modifications required for 'compatibility' are relatively minor as I
have detailed in the forum post. However to properly bring the Webshare
contrib into the SME7+ requirements would need the database access
portions of the contrib to be rewritten into the new DB format.
