I installed the new rpm on sme8.0 final and all functionality is working
correctly.
Trex also reports the new rpm is OK in the forums here
http://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,46970.msg242026.html#msg242026
So in my opinion the rpm can be moved to smecontribs repo, and this bug can be
closed.
