As promised, my report back (somewhat belatedly):
Tested lat-users add and delete and update; lat-groups add and delete
groups; lat-groups user add and delete on SME 8.0 Beta 6.
Thus far L-A-T seems ok, producing similar results to SME7.5x
I tested Horde e-mail with one of these users. Worked as expected.
Looking at /home/e-smith/files/samba/profiles shows:
user1.V2 and user1 as would be created by using the server-manager
panel.
The same files and directories are created in
/home/e-smith/files/users/user1 as would be created by using the
server-manager panel.
NB: use at your own risk as this contrib is unmaintained.
I assume the day will come when things will go horribly wrong.
