Hi Daniel,
I have done all the configurations for the shared folder,
users using the 'server-manager' interface and 'shared folder'
menu in the control panel. I have selected webdev type for
each folder.
I am able to list the files in the directory as user = staff09
i used the command:
ls /home/e-smith/files/shares/srcard/files
I assume 'll' is a typo.
No 'permission denied error'
Result of 'mount':
[root@server /]# mount
/dev/mapper/main-root on / type ext3 (rw,usrquota,grpquota,acl)
none on /proc type proc (rw)
none on /sys type sysfs (rw)
none on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
usbfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbfs (rw)
/dev/hdb1 on /mnt/disk02 type ext3 (rw,usrquota,grpquota,acl)
/dev/md1 on /boot type ext3 (rw)
none on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw)
none on /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc type binfmt_misc (rw)
[root@server /]#
Recently I mounted additional disk 'disk02'
I can provide you root access to a similar test system if that
would help - you may provide me with instruction.
Appreciate you allocating some of your time to help resolve this
since it can also help all users of 'shared folder' contrib.
