Base kernel module proposed for SME8 is
kernel-2.6.18-308.4.1
updates from centos will lead to
kernel-2.6.18-308.16
or
kernel-2.6.18-308.24 as 12/11/2012
unfortunately smecontribs will only offers :
dahdi-linux-kmdl-2.6.18-274.3.1.el5 - Digium kernel drivers
dahdi-linux-kmdl-2.6.18-274.3.1.el5xen - Digium kernel drivers
dahdi-linux-kmdl-2.6.18-274.7.1.el5 - Digium kernel drivers
dahdi-linux-kmdl-2.6.18-274.7.1.el5PAE - Digium kernel drivers
dahdi-linux-kmdl-2.6.18-274.7.1.el5xen - Digium kernel drivers
which are way too old
i suggest first updates them from atrpms to smecontribs as a temp fix
but the second part of the bug is that there is no process to automatically
update theses modules when the kernel is updated in the box or avoid the
kernel to update as breaking dependencies
