on a 32 bit host with a first installation from sme7contribs repository i can
break the contrib when i try an update with the new contrib for sme8.
it is explained in the wiki that we must remove the contrib before upgrade it.

can we use some limitation with dependencies to stop the installation or to
remove the old contrib in first ?
