Correct but it is impossible or nearly impossible to use different
virtualization software....BUT :
there are plenty of different version of virtualbox, for example i believe you
use the version 4.1 and me i use the version 4.3 (mainly because the version
4.2 of phpvirtualbox is bugged on the clone process)
So i made a package named smeserver-virtualbox-4.3 which get as dependency
Virtualbox.4-3
It could be hard to understand which version of smeserver-virtualbox we need if
you do not want to change your version of virtualbox.
It is the same for phpvirtualbox, we can imagine that a man does not want to
use virtualbox-4.3 and stay with virtualbox-4.1, so with yum it will be
difficult to choose the right version of phpvitualbox (difficult, not
impossible) since good versions of phpvirtualbox follow version of virtualbox.
I have thought a bit on this issue, and the only solution i found is to made
packages which follow virtualbox versions.
The solution of a generic package for all versions of phpvirtualbox or
virtualbox is not the solution for me, it is clearly against the release
philosophy of virtualbox....but of course we can find probably another
solution, better than mine :)
