Well you are going to do a huge but great task.
What i can do to help this bug
-package the future rpm
-test rpms or scripts
-give tips on development even if others can do it better than me.
For the moment ressources are not hight and it could be difficult to work only
on this new Contribs. Indeed i'm still thinking that it could be easier to fix
issues on V2 than to develop a new version.
You have to lead the development and ask in bugzilla or in devinfo mailing list
when you will have issues.
Surely that you have to start the work and other will join you after...
please go ahead.
