hi dave

which version of wordpress you have installed ?

i guess that the update you are wanting is in the smetest of our repository

http://mirror.pialasse.com/releases/8.1/smetest/SRPMS/wordpress-3.8.3-1.el5.src.rpm

since you are testing wordpress i would propose that you test this package
which comes from epel
In fact the solution of the package from epel is fine if you want to have the
multi-user feature but you cannot auto upgrade by this way the application.

So if you want to help the development you could test the smetest version and
report here if all is ok. Then after that we will ask to have a release on this
package.

Thanks in advance

do

yum install --enablerepo=smecontribs,smetest smeserver-wordpress wordpress
