Is this for me. I did a quick search and in the forums it seemed like it was an
available repository in previous versions but after executing "yum
--enablerepo=epel install php-mcrypt" I get the error message "Error getting
repository data for epel, repository not found".

Based on this I would hazard a guess that this repo needs to be added to the
yum repository list.
