Once the pm file is moved the normal backup messages appear in the messages log
and no errors related to DAR2 appear in the admin_error_log. Assuming the
directories requiring backup for a full disaster recovery restore (as listed in
the backup selections when you first create a new backup job) haven't changed
since SME8 then DAR2 should be fine once the dar2.pm file is moved to the new
location required for SME9.
