the last available version of wordpress is
http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/SRPMS/repoview/wordpress.html
we can't use the autoupdate feature when you have installed wordpress by a rpm,
it is impossible, coded by the packager of wordpress, and really not
recommended :)
what you can do
- install the last version of wordpress in an Ibay (simply create your mysql db
by hand, unzip the archive and allow the ibay to internet)
- ask to the developer of wordpress (remi collet) when it will be available and
provide him some helps for testing purpose.
- take some beers and wait the new version :)
Now this bug is closed 'notabug' however you can ask questions, no problem
