Bug ID: 9171
Summary: New templates for use with zarafa 7.2

Created attachment 5318

template files for zarafa 7.2.1
Hello,
I have a running zarafa 7.2 installation on a sme9.1. I added an attachment
with zarafa templates.
Changes in zarafa 7.2 that affect the smeserver-zarafa-unix package are:
- the ssl directives in the configs file have been changed
- some additional configuration options were added
- the location of the dagent binary (used by qmail to forward e-mail to zarafa
has been changed from /bin to /sbin
- the webapp application has been removed from the zarafa base packages.
The templates in the attachment file are updated for these changes.
The config file changes prevent zarafa-server from starting correctly, the
dagent location change prevents e-mail delivery (which has been reported in the
contrib forums a while ago).
I downloaded the zarafa home version (you need to register for that), the
community version will work also:
* zarafa-server version 7,2,1,51838
* zarafa-webapp 2.1.2-479.1
* z-push 2.2.7
Installation
I followed the basic contrib steps http://wiki.contribs.org/Zarafa_on_SME_9
I had to upgrade (from 7.1) which means a full uninstall of all zarafa and
z-push packages. The contrib page removes *dev*.rpm, the latest version also
includes *debug*.rpm packages. they are not required as well.
For z-push 2.2.7 the zarafa-z-push package is obsolete. I did not find any
rpm's for centos 6.5, the manual tar.gz installs fine. When updating a previous
version please read the install script for instructions.
There are some minor issues left I had to address manually:
1) The zarafa-update event script does not reset zarafa database password
correctly. After a reconfigure and a reboot, zarafa server stops because the
database is inaccessible. A manual
/etc/e-smith/events/actions/zarafa-reset-db-password fixes the problem.
2) If you upgrade, the zarafa-update event script puts the zarafa database into
safe-mode. This is done to protect a database with live mailboxes because
changing the pluging type to unix is dangerous and can cause orphaned
mailboxes.
This prevents zarafa-server from performing required database updates for 7.2.
which lead to errors in the zarafa-server logs. The command <config setprop
zarafa-server UserSafeMode no> and a restart of zarafa services fixes this
problem.
May be these findings and the attached templates are of use to anyone that
likes to run zarafa 7.2
regards, marcel
