Thanks for getting back on this.
Here are the basics - I need to go try and generate some log entries for you in
the morning. Unfortunately, as I mentioned, there doesn't appear to be much
logged !
Something I just noticed as well - I was getting a 500 error and 'network db
not accessible' just now when I tried to access it. I can see that your gitweb
rpm sets the network db to 0644 but I can see that when I updated the networks
db it gets set back to 0640 so this is another issue !
I'll attach the generated httpd.conf shortly
