Ok - I have done that. Updated and rebooted.
A few strange things happening.
>From Local
>From server manager if I click a link I get
Not Found
The requested URL /git/CampaignOpportunitiesReport.git was not found on this
server.
[Mon Feb 08 15:18:09 2016] [error] [client 10.0.0.20] File does not exist:
/var/www/git/CampaignOpportunitiesReport.git, referer:

Or

Seems the redirect is not functioning correctly
Viewed from a local machine this does work :
https://esmith.impamark.com/git/
Viewed from a remote machine it does not
Logs show this
[Mon Feb 08 15:23:08 2016] [error] [client 80.59.216.239] File does not exist:
/var/www/git/vTigerCSVConverter.git
A few attempts in the log which give a 404 error on the web page :
