Yup - that was exactly what I was saying, but '(if you)..... do not use
iptables and would rather block at the server' was the important bit :-)

Yup - it was purely that he saw that you can do it for whitelists and couldn't
understand why he couldn't in the blacklists. Clearly that is resolved in the
new version of qpsmtpd. This bug really just shows a workaround for those with
the current version.

I don't believe that was ever the intention - note his original comment :
"accomplishes the same job as the Whitelisthosts for handling of subnets or
groups of IP Addresses but now "blacklists" them."
