actually this is a bug, and most likely a duplicate of
https://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4662
the situation is that procmail could use regex to match string, and we have
still taken any measures to filter the string provided.
the problem is being too strict we will avoid advanced user to use regex
expression
I am not sure how maildrop would behave better with incomplete sequences as
they would be expected in a regular expression
