at the time of # 8362 two other patches were likely applied on djbdns and were
removed since then because never verified see # 3826 and # 3824
so I have on my local version added back one of the two patch plus added the
pach from # 8362
patched djbdns; rolled back vm installed djbdns with patch
reboot
removed curl / host lines from config file and ....
took snapshot

djbdns-1.05-9.el6.sme.x86_64

Dan do not hesitate to test and report.
On my side, if you can confirm also the fix, I will take the time to analyze
the different patch and source code to see if we can reduce to some line or
should use a whole patch, and if so check which version to use.
