For SME /etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs/os.conf needs to be:
clam_user="clamav"
clam_group="clamav"
clam_dbs="/var/clamav"
clamd_pid="/var/run/clamd.pid"
clamd_restart_opt="clamdscan --reload"
clamd_socket="/var/clamav/clamd.socket"
For MalwarePatrol and SecuriteInfo /etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs/user.conf
needs editing (I'd also uncomment line default_dbs_rating="MEDIUM").
MalwarePatrol free product code is 32 not 8, script also needs patching:

Make sure /etc/cron.d/clamav-unofficial-sigs uses 'root' not 'clamav'.
For SecuriteInfo added security also download old database using freshclam:
create /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/freshclam.conf/SecuriteInfoOld:
'DatabaseCustomURL
http://www.securiteinfo.com/get/signatures/YOURTOKEN/securiteinfoold.hdb'
then run:
config setprop clamd MemLimit 2000000000
expand-template /etc/freshclam.conf
signal-event clamav-update
