Sorry, I seem to overwritten my previous comment with install log files
I created a new clean SME v10 install and installed smeserver-fail2ban.noarch
9:0.1.18-19.el7.sme from smetest
yum --enablerepo=smetest install smeserver-fail2ban
failed due to dependency error
Error: Package: 9:smeserver-fail2ban-0.1.18-19.el7.sme.noarch (smetest)
Requires: perl-Data-Validate-IP
I set up the EPEL repo and installed smeserver-fail2ban.noarch
9:0.1.18-19.el7.sme from smetest
yum --enablerepo=smetest --enablerepo=epel install smeserver-fail2ban
and fail2ban installed correctly with perl-Data-Validate-IP
It appears that the EPEL repository is required for perl-Data-Validate-IP.
