aha - looking at the code and playing with the panel I can see that the drop
down will select one of the three options.
I wonder why it has been done this way? Not very user friendly (?) especially
if the user has been used to the previous way of working (inc me!).
The AdminLTE theme does not deal with the current format very well.
I'll start by seeing if that can be sorted.
I'd appreciate other comments about the panel format and paradigm.
