OK, following up.
There are now 3 files
/etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs/master.conf
/etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs/os.conf
/etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs/user.conf
I think as it stands they work as standalone without the contrib.
However they are not templated so only configurable by hand.
The only one that possibly needs templating is user.conf where you can
enable/disable various databases, enable debugging etc, override the default
DBs etc.
So as it stands you can install the clamav-unofficial-sigs rpm by itself
without this contrib and it should work with the defaults.
If anyone wants to have some configuration options then let us know and we can
add them.
