Error message on screen using the WebGUI when entering SMEADMIN.
"Software error:
Can't call method "value" on an undefined value at
/etc/e-smith/web/functions/smeadmin line 541.
For help, please send mail to the webmaster (admin), giving this error message
and the time and date of the error".
Updated as per 29.06.2022; System is updated, latest version smeadmin in use,
no updates pending.
Note the missing info below in the "Check configuration" at Extern IP adres
line!
The error mentioned above pointing to line 541 is referring to this 'value',
"ExternalIP"
Tried new installation on new box, same hardware:
plain installation with all updates applied, gives same error..
However; if one changes the type of the computer to be a 'standalone server',
without changing anything, everything works, without errors..
Change it back again to servergateway and the error comes back..
Tried to uninstall smeadmin, reboot and installing again, same results.
Install procedure followed according the smeadmin contribs page.
ISP gives out IP with long TTL. Everything else is functioning, no complains..
What am I missing her?
